Gabriel M. IrwinPartner
Gabriel Irwin is a native of Long Beach and alumnus of Long Beach Polytechnic. From there he attended Thurgood Marshall College at the University of California San Diego, where he obtained his bachelors of arts degree in political science in 1997. After attending the Seton Hall School of Law, Mr. Irwin ultimately obtained his juris doctorate from the University of San Diego in the Spring of 2000. He was admitted to the California State Bar later that same year and is also admitted to practice in the United States Central District Court.
Since becoming a member of the California State Bar, Mr. Irwin has devoted the vast majority of his time to the field of medical malpractice. He has proudly been associated with the law firm Carroll, Kelly, Trotter, Franzen, McBride & Peabody since 2004, where he specializes in the defense of medical professionals and medical entities in traumatic, high exposure claims of medical negligence. Mr. Irwin was named a partner at the Carroll, Kelly firm in 2008.
Mr. Irwin has experience representing clients in all phases of litigation, including law and motion, depositions, trial preparation and trial. He is a member of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel and has been recognized by the Southern California Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in both 2006 and 2007.
When not devoting his efforts towards the defense of his clients, Mr. Irwin enjoys the company of his wife Jennifer and two daughters, Natalie and Vivienne. He continues to reside in Long Beach in the neighborhood of Bixby Knolls. Time permitting, he is known to play guitar and grow his electric guitar and amplifier collection.
